Hours and Location: Hours of operation will be Saturday December 7th, 2024 from 10 am – 4 pm, at the Indianapolis Car Exchange (ICE) 5161 S Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN
Vendor Set Up and Take Down: Set Up: Doors will open at 8 am for set up. Take Down: Vendors are responsible for removing all trash and other items from their space at the end of the event. Booth Space & Fees: A 10x10 space is $50. Each Vendor is solely responsible for their own equipment (tables, chairs, tents, displays, etc). Limited electricity is available - if you require electrical needs at your booth space, let us know in advance. Booth space fees are non-refundabl, and must be paid at time of registration. Type, Value and Quality of Product: Customers generally benefit from having a choice, WhiskerFest does not offer exclusive rights to vendors to sell any one product. However, if the WhiskerFest believes the number of crafters and/or Home Party Consultants offering similar products is excessive, duplicate products may be denied entry. For the same reasons, the WhiskerFest may also seek out certain vendors in an effort to balance our event offerings. Forms of Payment, Pricing: It is up to each vendor to determine what forms of payment you will accept. Type of payments accepted should be displayed at your booth space. Wifi is available for those using credit card processing applications. Pricing of goods sold at WhiskerFest is solely the responsibility of the individual vendor. Each vendor is solely responsible for collecting sales tax and remitting if required. Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the building. Areas are available outside the facility. No alcoholic beverages or related spirits sales allowed. Health Department Requirements, Permits and Licensing: All vendors are responsible for and shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations and ordinances pertaining to their products. Per the Boone County Health Department (BCHD), food establishments and home-based food vendors and those sampling products operating at WhiskerFest are required to meet minimum sanitation requirements and obtain all necessary permits, licenses and inspections prior to selling. Liability Insurance and Other Legal Issues: All Vendors are solely responsible for any and all claims, injuries and damages resulting from their sale of unsound or unsafe goods and/or from their participation in WhiskerFest. Vendors shall hold Humane Society for Boone County, The Arc of Greater Boone County and the Indianapolis Car Exchange harmless against all protection against claims, injuries and damages. Facebook, Website and Marketing WhiskerFest Vendors agree to permit gratis use of any photographs taken of the operation of your space to be used on the WhiskerFest Facebook Page, Website or Marketing Materials. In addition, the vendor agrees to release contact information (website, e-mail or phone) to be displayed on WhiskerFest and/or HSforBC websites and Facebook pages. WhiskerFest requests our vendors help in keeping the Facebook event page updated. Vendors are encouraged to visit the WhiskerFest Event Facebook Page weekly to like and post information for customers. WhiskerFest Vendor Application Vendors must agree to hold harmless Humane Society for Boone County, Inc., The Arc of Greater Boone County and the Indianapolis Car Exchange, as well as its agents, officers, volunteers, members and employees from any and all liability, loss or damage, including, but not limited to; bodily and personal injuries, injuries resulting in death, property damage and all other claims, actions and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees and costs, which may occur as a result of vendor’s participation in WhiskerFest. WhiskerFest reserves the right to make judgment calls based on activity deemed unsafe. Vendors who fail to comply with the rules set forth in the WhiskerFest Guidelines and General Information document may be asked to change their actions, leave WhiskerFest and run the risk of not being accepted to WhiskerFest the following year. |
