Dogs and PuppiesHSforBC updates and posts new dogs and information frequently so please visit this site often as you consider adoption. Due to HSforBC’s success in finding furever homes for foster dogs, some of the dogs featured here may no longer be available. The adoption fee is $175.00 for dogs and $200.00 for puppies, which includes spay or neuter, Rabies and other age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm blood test, deworming and microchip.
NOTE: Beginning June 1, 2025 we will be increasing our adoption fees: Puppies Under 6 months: $300 ( Projected adult weight 0-35lbs) $250 ((Projected adult weight over 35lbs) Adult Dogs: $250 (0-35lbs) $175 (36lbs and up) Seniors (Over 8 years) $75 |
Cats and KittensHSforBC updates and posts new cats and information frequently so please visit this site often as you consider adoption. Due to HSforBC’s success in finding furever homes for foster cats, some of the cats featured here may no longer be available. The adoption fee is $60.00 for cats and $75.00 for kittens, which includes spay or neuter, Rabies and other age appropriate vaccinations, FELV and FIV blood tests, deworming and microchip.

Working CatsWorking cats are cats who are not appropriate for home adoption but thrive in suitable indoor/outdoor homes, such as barns, stables and warehouses. We do not actively accept cats into this program. Instead, this program offers cats who are deemed not appropriate for home life another route to adoption.
